Mel's Mule Sale offered about 200 head for consideration, with nearly a third of them being 3-year-old mules.
The yearling colts were off a little in price averaging out at $1800. There was not a large supplier of the colts; they were brought in by various local farmers. Many of the colts were April and May colts. Several were Rock Star colts.
Now to the stars of the sale .... the 3-year-olds.
