Ok, harness up and hold on ..... it is January Sale Season in the South!

This week, on January 4 & 5, will be the Bluegrass Sale in Kentucky.  For those who enjoy the stats, this year marks a change for the mule industry.  For many, many year, Linden Carter opened mule sale season in January with the first sale of the year, in the past on the first Wednesday.  2024 this burden of proof is now on the shoulders of Bluegrass Stables as they drop the first gavil on January 4th.

Bluegrass will offer colts to aged mules.  They also host a horse sale on the following Friday. 

Dixie Longears will be attending this sale and will have information posted as available beginning Wednesday evening.

Questions on many minds:  Will colt prices still hold low?  Will aged mules prices decrease like the colt prices did in October?  Who will be the high selling pair and what sale will hosts them? 

Time will tell the answer to many of these questions in a few days.
