Loss of Anita King

Dec 26, 2024 at 06:20 am by cindy4dixie

Dixie Longears shares the following death announcement for Anita Lancaster.

Anita's voice was heard for many years as a volunteer at Columbia Mule Days in the working arena.  She would keep listeners on who was working and the techniques being used.

Anita and her late husband, W.E. King, were cornerstones in the mule pulling world.  After loosing W.E. she continued to support the work they started together.  Anita was a strong mentor for not only the pulling world but the Mule Industry in general.

Anita knew nor met no strangers.  She welcomed everyone in her circle and was a hands on person in anything she devoted her time too.

The foot print she leaves to be filled is large.  There are many who Anita expects to carry on her dedication and the love of the mules.  The time she has given to these individuals will make it possible.

Dixie Longears Readers and Followers send heart felt prayers to Anita's Family.
