Hoover Mules prepares for their 15th Annual Mule Sale.  The mules will sale on Thursday January 9th and the horses will sale on Friday January 10th.  The sale location will be 255 John Paul Rd, Russellville KY 42276.

The Hoover Family is expecting 350 plus head on mule day!  Then add 400 plus for horse sale day!

If one cannot find something at this sale, they are not looking too hard.

One can find broke, broke to green broke .... yearlings to aged mules ..... riding stock to working stock.  Oh, and let's not forget the jacks and jennets. 

Jacob Stoltzfus will be consigning several head of stock and has announced a herd reduction of his top quality stock.  These will be at Hoover Sale and noted in the sale catalog.

This seems like a lot of stock to run through a sale, so follow these tips to prepare for the sale.

Keep in mind, Hoover mules is experienced in handling sales of this size.  The sales are well organized and move fast.  Johnathan Hoover and the auctioneer staff are not going to beg for a bid.  They will catch all bids and move on. 

Second, arrive early and take notes.  This is a great sale to follow as they sale in order.  This allows bidders to know when they have time to take a break and when they need to be paying attention.  Jotting down stock numbers will help bidders tremendously if looking for something specific.  This allows time for questions on the stock as well. 

Third, register for a bid number and keep it handy so spotters can grab the bid number quickly and move on to the next lot number.
