Recently a subject for many who buy and sell mules from state to state has become high interest.  This is an article to help make each aware that the laws in various states have changed regarding 'Coggins' for equine.

Many of who trail ride keep these handy year round.  Many who travel with sale stock are familiar with the laws of each area.

Thursday of last week it was confirmed sale stock headed to Pennsylvania for January sales will be required to have a current negative coggins. 

I encourage each to contact future sales and areas of interest in various states to check this law for that particular area prior to leaving.  This will save many headaches upon arrival.
