January 20th thru January 28th will be very busy.  Dixie is in Harrisburg PA to check out the Draft Horse Sale 20th and 21st.  In speaking with some of the organizers, they are eager to share information with the mule industry.  They have many mares that are open as well as some carrying colts.  A few of these had mule colts last year.

This will be the first information shared with followers.   Next will be infomration about Mel's Mule Sale in New Holland This sale will probably have 175 to 200 head of mules for sale. 

Major consignors at this sale will be the partners Austin and Young.  These two will provide about 60 head to this sale.  Many of these mules will be 3 year olds.  

There are many more consignors at this sale.  Another name on the consignment list will be Kelso Mules.  Once the consignment list is released there will be more information on this sale.

Next we will travel to Quarryville where Jonas King will hosts his regular sale.  There will be 300+ at the sale.  He is expecting about 100 colts and I am guessing that many 3 year olds as well. This sale will be live streamed.  

In between these sales, will be some interviews and maybe a farm visit or two.
