The Kentucky State Fair for 2026 has come and gone.  There was some special moments at the show this year.

The absolute most popular participants in the mule exhibit was the entries of Wickey Farms.

Eller Farms begin showing again in the 2-mule-hitch a couple of years ago.  Steve Eller and grandson, Jacob Phelps, took home top honors in this class during 2026.  Not only awarded the KY State Fair Championship but also Honored with the Wischmeier Family Award for this Hitch Class.

Another special moment at the fair was the presentation made to the Champion Mare Mule honoring Greg Tabor.  Shown above is Redmon Farms Family receiving the award, Teresa Tabor and Family Members, State Fair Committee Members.  The award was sponsored by Dixie Longears and Hoover Mules.
