This ride is the 50th Anniversary of the Montgomery Wagon Train from Forney, Alabama to Montgomery, Alabama.

Gathering Day March 5, 2023 at the module yard across from RF Lindsey Store with a reunion for participants and anyone who has attended rides in the past. Soup and Chili supper will be provided with a meeting at 5:00 PM CST.  

Ride will leave March 6, 2023 and arrive in Montgomery, AL March 16, 2023.  Traveling approximately 185 miles on predominantly back roads.

Hotdog Lunch will be provided on Thursday, March 9th.  

A layover day in Ashland, AL for Pioneer Day will be Saturday, March 11th with Cowboy Church on Saturday evening.

Spaghetti Supper in Santuck, AL Wednesday, March 15th.

Wagon train will arrive in Montgomery, AL on Thursday, March 16th - There will be a Parade in Montgomery on Friday March 17th around the Capital with lunch following.  Saddle Club Members who Participate in the parade will receive SLE Montgomery Rodeo tickets for Friday Night.

Primitive camping only - generators are welcome.  Water is available at some but not all camps - please be prepared to carry a supply for 2-3 days.  

Trucks and trailers will pull up each morning @ 6:30 AM CST - FTB saddle club will provide transportation from the new camp back to the ride each morning.

Fee will be $120 per rig (includes 1 Membership) each additional membership $20.  Liability Waiver must be signed to participate.
