As questions / comments come in regarding the DIXIE Wagon Train, I want to share information with readers. In raising three boys myself, I realize kids like to ride their own horses / mules along with the wagons. This is not a problem for this wagon ride. I only asked there is no racing or running past wagons while on the trail. Some mules are not as broke as others and this might upset a young pair or a new driver. If you as the parent are willing to keep your youngsters within view of your wagon, they are more than welcome to ride along. There is no fees for camping but keep in mind all camping is primitive. Also, I realize some like to bring their own panels and make a small pen for their stock and this is more than welcome as well.
